Sabre was the most biddable honest, easy - going Golden who lived to love water, birds and retrieving.
On April 5, 2003 at about 1:15pm, in a little Texas town not ten minutes from where I went to high school, I watched with tears streaming down my face as Sabre took his final point to become the first champion *** golden since 1986 and the first champion golden to have all age field trial points since 1980 - - quarter of a century ago..- Many THANKS to all the wonderful people offering their time, advice, expertise and support on the road to Sabre's Championship. Special thanks to Sylvia Donahey-Feeney and Jeff Chaffin, the superb handling skills of Jeff, Beth Johnson, Heather Queener, Brian Livingston and David Harper.

- Ch AFC Lorelie's Golden Rockbottom UD Trophy (Awarded to the bench champion golden retriever who during the calendar year has the highest placements/JAM's in AKC licensed field trials.)
- CH Tonkahof Bang *** Trophy (Awarded to the bench champion who places highest at the GRCA National Specialty Field Trial.)
